Technical Approach

I want to shoot this film, entirely from the main character's perspective. I don't feel it is important to ever show the character's face or full figure. To achieve this from the ground view, in the past I tried to rig the camera to a T Square, holding it by my feet as I walked. It was not as sturdy as I had hoped and need to find a better approach to shoot the scenes that are not from an eye perspective.
